Take Action

GirlTREK has accomplished what no other health intervention has been able to do for Black women.

When Monica, a mother of three in Mississippi, joined GirlTREK, she was at a breaking point—juggling caregiving, work, and the silent toll of hypertension. She laced up her sneakers one Saturday and never looked back. Today, Monica  leads a walking crew of 30 women in her neighborhood. Together, they’ve reclaimed sidewalks, built a garden in an abandoned lot, and helped each other schedule overdue doctor’s appointments. Monica isn’t just walking; she’s leading a quiet revolution in her community.

Thanks to supporters like you, GirlTREK is mobilizing 1.3 million Monica’s across the country and globally to increase the life expectancy of Black women by 10 years in a decade. Here are some ways you can support our mission.

Art, Jewelry and Luxury Assets

You can also support GirlTrek with non-cash passion assets like fine art, jewelry, watches, and other luxury items that hold significant value. If interested, please notify ayanna@girltrek.org and we can connect you with one of our partners at The Fine Art Group. They can offer practical solutions to unlock the value of these non-cash passion assets through 1) strategic sales (via global auction houses or private sale); 2) gift to a donor-advised fund (DAF); and/or 3) gift to a charitable trust. Some examples may include paintings, sculpture, jewelry, watches, pop culture and sports memorabilia, coins, wine and spirits, collector cars, books and manuscripts, handbags, and other valuable collectibles.

NOTE: There would be no cost to your organization or the donor for using this service. The Fine Art Group is traditionally paid via the buyer premium.
